  • My journey into photography is as inspiring as it is personal. I initially pursued a career in law in Addis Ababa, but I soon realized my true calling was behind the camera. Following my heart, I transitioned into photography and have spent over a decade perfecting my craft—turning fleeting moments into timeless memories.

Since making New Orleans my home in 2021, I’ve dedicated myself to wedding and portrait photography, capturing over 200 heartfelt stories in collaboration with Linka Odom Photography.

PAST PROJECTS
  • 2015: Worked as a video cameraman and recorded various African Submits for a Zala Film Production sponsored by the United Nations Economic Commission Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
  • 2017: Fairchain Foundation and Moyee Coffee's in the Netherlands and Ireland documentary on coffee growers in Limu, Ethiopia.
  • 2018: Worked as a producuer and an assistant cameraman on a feature Film "Addise Newland" for an Israeli company called Zed Film. The feature film portrays the life of Ethiopian Jews.
  • 2019: Recorded the former Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar's working visit to Ethiopia in Addis Ababa and Tigray.
  • 2020: Worked for an organization named "Jewish Agency for Israel" to produce a documentary "Ethiopia Olim" that portrays the Return of Ethiopian Jews from Gondar to Israel.
  • Eyoel's work was published on the British Council's Facebook page.
  • 2021: Eyoel's work was published on A Better World Ireland Policy for International Development and The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs websites.
